For the second time in the space of a month, Hassocks were on the end of a defeat against AFC Uckfield Town as the Oakmen added a Premier Division victory over the Robins to their Peter Bentley League Cup triumph three weeks previously.
Phil Broom had given the hosts a half time lead which was cancelled out by Ben Bacon nine minutes in the second half.
Richie Welch put Uckfield back ahead with 20 minutes remaining and Andrew Dalhouse sewed up the win in injury time, leaving the Robins to face a fourth consecutive loss in all competitions.
