Hassocks will begin the 2018-19 Southern Combination League Premier Division season at home to Broadbridge Heath.
Steve Painter will bring his Bears side to the Beacon on Saturday 4th August. Three days later, the Robins are home again with Chichester City the visitors for the first floodlit action of the campaign.
South East Counties League side Erith Town visit in the FA Cup on Saturday 11th, with Hassocks’ first away game being at Peacehaven and Telscombe on Saturday 18th. For the second season running, the Robins August Bank Holiday fixture will be at home to Saltdean United.
There is no Mid Sussex Derby to look forward to this season following Haywards Heath Town’s promotion. Instead, the Robins holiday games will be against Lancing at the Beacon on Boxing Day and at Culver Road on Easter Monday.
Other notable dates include Hassocks’ first ever league meetings with newly promoted Langney Wanderers and Little Common. They take place at Priory Lane on Saturday 29th September and the Oval on Saturday 20th October respectively.
Hassocks will have to wait to face Shoreham for the first time in two seasons. The first game against Sammy Donnelly’s Musselmen takes place Saturday 29th December at Middle Road. The return is the penultimate game of the campaign at the Beacon on Saturday 20th April.
Lingfield are another side Hassocks haven’t faced in league action for some time, our last meetings coming in the 2013-14 season. They visit the Beacon on November 24th with the return game at the Sports Pavilion on March 2nd.
The Robins will conclude their season at home to AFC Uckfield Town on Saturday 27th April.
