Burgess Hill Town lifted the trophy outright for the first time in six attempts thanks to a convincing victory over Hassocks in front of a bumper crowd of 337.
All the goals came in the second half with Aaron Smith-Joseph scoring twice for the Hillians with goals from Kieron Pamment and Billy Barker coming in between Smith-Joseph’s brace.
Hill manager Ian Chapman and captain Pat Harding were presented with the cup afterwards. The evening helped to raise a fantastic total of over £800 for St Peter and St James’ Hospice.
