The Robins opened their 2018-19 campaign with a 1-1 draw against the Bears at a sun drenched Beacon. Liam Benson marked his return after nine months with Lancing by putting Hassocks into the lead after Jack Wilkins had been felled in the box by former Robin Glen Woodburn.
The lead was short-lived however as just eight minutes later, Heath’s Devon Fender levelled things up to ensure that Mark Dalgleish had to settle for a draw in his first game in sole change of Hassocks.
