Hassocks Under 23s have had their fixtures for November released with two league and two cup games scheduled for the Robins.
Nigel Pearce’s side kick off with their first ever meeting with Broadbridge Heath at Under 23 level on Thursday 8th November at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre.
A week later, the Robins are in Sussex Under 23 Challenge Cup second round action at home to Hastings United. Hassocks set up the tie with a 6-0 win over Hailsham Town while United defeated the reigning Southern Combination League West Division champions 5-0 at the Pilot Field.
That points to Nigel Pearce’s side facing a tough task to make it through to the last eight of the competition for the first time.
There is further cup action the following week at home to Peacehaven & Telscombe in the second round of the League Cup.
The Tye currently sit seventh in the East Division with two wins, one draw and three defeats from their opening six games of the campaign.
Hassocks finish the month with a home game against Southwick at the Beacon on Thursday 29th November. This will be the second meeting this season between the two, the first seeing the Robins steal three points late on at Old Barn Way.
The Wickers had led from the 40th minute through Jakob Ross right through until the 82nd minute when James Littlejohn scored twice to give Hassocks a 2-1 victory.
The Under 18s have also found out their opponents in the second round of their League Cup with Montpelier Villa coming to the Beacon on Sunday 25th November with an 11am kick off.
