It was a terrible afternoon at the Beacon for the Robins as they were well beaten 2-0 by struggling Arundel. Benjamin Gray and Harry Russell scored the goals for the Mullets with their three points lifting them above above Loxwood and Little Common and out of the relegation zone in the process.
To complete a thoroughly miserable day for the hosts, left back Andy Whittingham was also dismissed in only his sixth appearance back in a Hassocks shirt since returning to the club after seven years away.
