The Robins started 2019 how they had finished 2018 as they stretched their winning run to three games with a gritty 1-0 victory over East Preston.
Hassocks captain Phil Johnson got the only goal of the game 10 minutes before half time, converting a James Littlejohn cross with his knee in what turned out to be a brilliant piece of improvisation.
Harvey Enticknap was voted as the Robins’ man-of-the-match after a hugely impressive performance in the midfield engine room alongside debutant Scott Kirkwood who made his debut after signing from Shoreham in midweek.
