Robins announce media partnership with Hassocks Life Magazine

Hassocks Football Club are happy to announce a new partnership with the village’s very own Hassocks Life Magazine.

Starting with the October edition of the publication which was is released on Tuesday 8th October, the monthly magazine will be carrying an update on goings on at the Beacon.

This is an exciting media partnership which will keep the local community in touch with their local non-league club.

Hassocks Life is a free, full colour community magazine which is published monthly. Around 4,500 copies of each issue with the majority being hand-delivered to homes across Hassocks, Keymer and Clayton. It’s also available as a downloadable PDF from the Hassocks Life website at hassockslife.co.uk.

The first issue was launched at the Hassocks May Day event on 6th May 2019 held at the Robins’ former home ground of Adastra Park.

In five short months, it has already become a popular publication which brings news, information and details on events happening within the village to residents.

The benefits for the football club are fairly obvious. We’re always looking for ways to contribute more to the community and this is certainly one, helping us to reach 4,500 local residents in one swoop.

That gives us the chance to let supporters and potential supporters know what is happening at the Beacon, as well as raising awareness of non-league football in the area.

The magazine won’t just focus on first team affairs either. Both Hassocks Life and the football club are keen to show that there is much more to the Robins than what happens at 3pm on a Saturday.

The Under 23s, Under 18s and Ladies side will all be receiving coverage and the club’s work as an FA Charter Standard Community Club will also be highlighted through what goes on in the Juniors Section.

We’d like to thank Deidre and the team at Hassocks Life for the opportunity and we look forward to working with them over the coming months.
