Hassocks gave arguably their worst performance of the season as they became the first side to lose to Loxwood in the league so far this season.
The Magpies had gone 22 games without victory before storming into a 3-0 lead at Plaistow Road inside the opening 25 minutes.
Mark Goldson gave the hosts the lead with just seven on the clock. Former Hassocks striker Charlie Pitcher doubled the advantage eight minutes later with Timothy Bennett notching the third on 25. The only saving grace for the Robins was that it didn’t get any worse after that.
