The programme from the first home league game of the season is now available for free
The matchday programme from Hassocks’ Southern Combination League Premier Division game against Eastbourne Town on Saturday 14th August 2021 is now available to download for free.
Unfortunately, printing problems meant that we were unable to offer any physical programmes on the day. The wonders of technology did mean that supporters could access it on their mobile devices via the cloud in the Clubhouse or by having it emailed direct.
For those who still missed out, downloading today gives you access to 36 pages of Robins content. Part one of the 2020-21 season review focussed on the Robins’ return to action in September and there was an important fixture update alongside a match report of the FA Cup defeat against Spelthorne Sports three days earlier.
A walk down memory lane included a shock 2-2 draw for Hassocks against Eastbourne Town at the Saffrons in April 2015 when a young Robins side rallied from 2-0 down to take an important point on their way to survival.
On this Day meanwhile went back to 2007, when Crowborough Athletic spoiled the opening of the new Beacon Clubhouse by winning 1-0 to underline their title credentials in a season when they would go onto lift the Sussex County League title.
