44 pages of Robins content as the Pirates sailed into the Beacon
The matchday programme from Hassocks’ Southern Combination League Premier Division match against Bexhill United on Saturday 5th November 2022 is now available to download for free.
The programme contained news of Hassocks’ decision to switch some home matches at the Beacon to 2pm kick offs in a bid to keep energy costs down by reducing floodlight use through the winter months.
JJ Minty was welcomed to the Beacon after dual-signing from Burgess Hill Town. Whilst Minty arrived, there was a farewell to defender Charlie Tuck, who has moved to Horsham YMCA.
November’s fixtures were revealed, including cup draws pairing the Robins with Eastbourne Town and Steyning Town. There was also an On This Day from Bonfire Night 2016, although it was not a happy one for Hassocks as they were beaten 3-0 at home by Pagham.
