The magic of the RUR Charity Cup at the Beacon
The matchday programme from Hassocks’ Sussex Principal RUR Charity Cup third round match against Steyning Town on Tuesday 21st March 2023 is now available to download for free.
Hassocks’ performances over the past 40 years in the RUR Cup were reviewed, including last season’s memorable run to the semi finals – the fourth time the Robins had reached that stage of the competition.
There was a celebration of Harvey Blake reaching 100 appearances for Hassocks and Phil Johnson was revealed to have won the February Player of the Month award.
Head coach James Westlake spoke about the Robins’ impressive recent defensive record whilst looking forward, a special reduced admission price was announced for the weekend game against Newhaven for supporters who bring along an item for the Hassocks Community Food Bank.
