The Robins kicked off their pre-season schedule with a first ever clash against Kent Premier Division side Peckham Town at the Menace Arena, running out 4-1 winners.
Liam Benson opened the scoring 19 minutes played but the lead did not last long, Peckham levelling through A Trialist just eight minutes later.
The scores remained locked at 1-1 until James Westlake made a treble change just past the hour mark, which gave the Robins the impetus needed to go on and take victory.
Three goals arrived in the final 30 minutes from Sam Geard, Tom Frankland and Pat Harding to complete a good afternoon’s work in south London for Hassocks.
