The Robins bounced back from their first league defeat of the season against Eastbourne United seven days earlier by hammering AFC Varndeanians 5-0.
Three of the goals came in the opening 45 minutes. Sean Stephenson scored his first in Hassocks colours, followed by brilliant strikes from Alex Fair and Alfie Loversidge.
Liam Benson then rounded off the rout with a second half brace.
