First home game in nearly a month ends in stalemate
Highlights from the Southern Combination Premier Division match between Hassocks and Horsham YMCA at the Beacon on Tuesday 10th October 2023.
After a goal-laden five consecutive away games which had seen Hassocks score 15 times, the Robins returned to the Beacon for the first time in nearly four weeks with a 0-0 draw against Horsham YMCA.
The first half featured some woeful finishing whilst the second saw YM goalkeeper Aaron Jeal called into action on several occasions.
Hassocks though could find no way through, although on the positive side it was a second consecutive clean sheet for Fraser Trigwell following the 1-0 weekend win at Crawley Down Gatwick.
