Hassocks take on the Tye on Tuesday 21st November
A new date has been set for Hassocks to host Peacehaven & Telscombe, with the game rearranged for Tuesday 21st November at the Beacon, kicking off at 7:45pm.
The original fixture was postponed on Saturday after heavy rain left the pitch waterlogged and deemed unplayable following a morning inspection.
Hassocks would have come into the game in good form having held two promotion candidates to draws in their past two matches.
A fine point from a 1-1 stalemate at Newhaven last weekend was followed by a 2-2 midweek draw in the Peter Bentley League Cup against Haywards Heath Town on Tuesday night.
The Bluebells ended up progressing to the quarter finals of the competition on penalties, scoring all five of their spot kicks to win 5-4 from 12 yards.
Hassocks are next in action this coming Saturday and it is another challenging assignment as they travel to Southern Combination Premier Division leaders Crowborough Athletic.
The new date for the Peacehaven match will make for a tough end to November. The Robins will go to Eastbourne Town on Saturday 18th and host the Tye on Tuesday 21st.
Saltdean United visit the Beacon on Saturday 25th before a visit to Steyning Town on Tuesday 28th, the Barrowmen having lost only once in the league so far this season.
