Beacon pitch falls foul of wet weather
This afternoon’s Southern Combination League Premier Division fixture between Hassocks and Peacehaven & Telscombe has been postponed.
The relentless rain of the last 24 hours has left the Beacon pitch waterlogged and with more storms forecast, it was concluded that the game should not take place.
A new date will be set in due course. Please keep your eyes on the Hassocks website and social media channels for more information.
Hassocks will next be in action next Saturday away at league leaders Crowborough Athletic. Kick off is 3pm at the Crowborough Community Stadium.
The next scheduled game at the Beacon is on Saturday 25th November when Saltdean United visit in a 3pm kick off.
