Alex Fair gave the Robins an early lead via a fine volley. Heath though turned things around before half time, Alex Plummer and a Lewis Finney penalty ensuring the visitors went into the break 2-1 ahead.
Liam Hendy equalised against his former club on the hour mark, followed by an action-packed final 10 minutes.
Jack Meeres headed in for Heath on 89 but lengthy treatment for Bluebells defender Josh Spins earlier in the half meant a significant amount of injury time.
Hassocks subsequently won a 99th minute penalty and the chance to secure a replay. Heath goalkeeper Mitch Bromage ended up the hero, keeping out Tom Frankland’s effort to send the Bluebells through.
