A 2-0 victory on a memorable day saw the Robins move into the second round of the FA Vase for the first time in a decade.
Chairman Pat Harding organised a magical mystery tour bus to take players, staff and supporters to Krooner Park, meaning there was a big travelling contingent to cheer on Hassocks.
They were treated to Ruari Farrell opening the scoring from a long Dan Turner throw in the first half.
Morgan Vale added a second from the penalty spot just before the hour mark, after which the Robins defence were rarely troubled on their way to securing an impressive win against their Combined Counties League hosts.
