Six league games and one FA Vase match for Robins in action packed November
Six Southern Combination Premier Division matches fitted into four November weeks will mean Hassocks reach the halfway point of their league campaign by the end of the month.
The action starts on Saturday 2nd November against Newhaven, opponents who the Robins have fond memories of hosting after what happened when the sides last met at the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground in April.
A 5-1 win playing for over an hour with 10 men in front of the biggest home crowd for a league game in Hassocks history made for an incredible afternoon – and the perfect send off for Super Pat Harding, who announced his retirement before the game.
Seven days after hosting Newhaven in BN6 and the Robins travel to Tunbridge Wells in the second round of the FA Vase.
Hassocks have never played the Wells in a competitive fixture before, nor have the Robins gone beyond round two of the competition.
If it proves to be half as good an away day as the trip to Camberley Town last month, quite an afternoon lies in store across the Sussex-Kent border.
That is followed by Tuesday night action away at Loxwood on November 12th in a fixture rearranged from September after a wasp nest appeared overnight in one of the goals at Plaistow Road.
Saturday 16th November brings Midhurst & Easebourne to the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground for a 3pm kick off.
The Robins then travel to Saltdean United on Tuesday 19th and Pagham on Saturday 23rd before rounding the month off with a home game against Shoreham on Saturday 30th. That one kicks off at 2pm.
Currently, just one Under 23s game is scheduled for Thursday 7th away at Storrington. More will be added once County and League Cup games have been completed.
The Under 18s start November with a huge top-of-the-table clash, hosting Burgess Hill Town on Sunday 3rd November at 11am.
They then welcome Pagham in the Sussex Dennis Probee Youth Cup on Sunday 10th, followed by Eastbourne United in the League Cup on Sunday 24th. All those kick off at 11am and admission is free.
After three weeks without a game, the Ladies will play on three consecutive Sundays through November.
Sunday 10th sees East Preston visit the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground in a 2pm kick off. Sunday 17th is a 1:30pm start away at Horsham Sparrows and Sunday 24th is a trip to Worthing Town.
