The Robins suffered their first home league defeat of the season to a Roffey side who moved into the title picture in the process.
Josh Neathey put the Boars ahead but Charlie Pitcher levelled on the stroke of half time to ensure the sides went into the break level.
Hassocks visibly ran out of steam through the second 45 minutes, a result of their exertions just two days earlier against Haywards Heath Town whereas Roffey had enjoyed four days off.
Goals from Dan Pappoe and Tom Tolfrey in the final half hour secured a deserved victory for the visitors.
