All three first team fixtures take place away from the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground
Hassocks will spend the entirety of January on the road, completing the first three of six consecutive away matches.
The month starts with a trip to Horsham YMCA on Saturday 4th January. The Herbert Direct Stadium used to be a pretty unhappy hunting ground for the Robins but three wins since 2020 has turned a previously poor record around.
Kick off is at 3pm and Big Alex Fair will be hoping to score from inside his own half again, as he did when YM visited the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground in September.
Hassocks then travel to Wick on Saturday 11th January at 2pm. The original trip to Crabtree Park scheduled for December 7th was postponed because of a damaging leak in the changing rooms.
It will be the Robins’ first visit to Wick since the opening day of the 2016-17 season when two goals from Jamie Hillwood secured a 2-1 victory for Mark Dalgleish and Phil Wickwar’s side.
January is rounded off with one of the longest away journeys of the campaign to Bexhill United. After a slow start to the season, the Pirates have moved into playoff contention under returning manager Ryan Light. That game takes place on Sunday 25th January with a 3pm kick off at the Polegrove.
There are two Ladies games in January, both also away from home. Sunday 12th January is a trip to East Preston followed by a visit to Eastbourne Town on Sunday 19th.
The Robins have already beaten both those opponents this season, defeating the former 5-0 and the latter 11-0 at the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground.
No Under 23s fixtures have been announced at the time of writing but the Under 18s have four matches confirmed through January.
Sunday 5th January sees Eastbourne United visit the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground in the second round of the Southern Combination Under 18 League Cup.
The following week is a huge Sussex Dennis Probee Youth Cup quarter final against Worthing. The Young Robins have already defeated one higher division side to reach this stage of the County Cup, eliminating Isthmian League Hastings United in the fourth round of the competition.
Hassocks then return to Central Division action with a home game against Shoreham on Sunday 19th and a trip to Burgess Hill Town on Sunday 26th.
