A spirited display from the Robins in their first outing for three weeks was not enough to earn a result against a Broadbridge Heath outfit firmly in title contention going into the final three months of the campaign.
First half goals from Ryan Brackpool and Charlie Parmiter left the Bears in a commanding position going into the break.
The Robins though rallied in the second half, pulling one back with 10 minutes remaining via a Phil Johnson penalty.
Home goalkeeper Alfie Hadfield was shown a red card for his part in a melee which broke out after Johnson converted – but despite playing out the closing stages with an outfield player in goal, Heath held on for three precious points.
