Photos as the Robins and Town share the spoils on the opening day of the season
Photos of the Southern Combination League Premier Division match between Hassocks and Eastbourne Town at the Beacon on Saturday 29th July.
The spoils were shared on the opening day of the 2023-24 season on a sweltering afternoon in Mid Sussex with the Robins and Town playing out a 1-1 draw.
There was little of action of note in the first half but both sides improved immeasurably after the break.
Town went 1-0 ahead on 55 minutes but the lead was short lived as Harry Simmons turned a Joe Bull corner into his own net 12 minutes later.
