Photos of the Southern Combination Premier Division match between Hassocks and Crawley Down Gatwick at the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground on Monday 26th August 2024.
The Robins and Down put on their usual goal fest which on this occasion went in favour of Hassocks, who ran out 4-1 winners.
Morgan Vale, Jamie Wilkes and Alex Fair had Hassocks 3-0 ahead and cruising inside of 11 minutes.
Down pulled one back through Callum Kilkenny just past the quarter hour mark to complete a breathless opening spell.
Things though tailed off after that with the only further goal coming from Vale as the Robins picked up an excellent win to make it two victories from two August Bank Holiday matches.
