Alex Fair scored a sensational goal from 65 yards as the Robins eased to a 4-1 win over Horsham YMCA, who arrived in BN6 having lost only one league game all season.
An own goal gave Hassocks an early lead doubled by Fair, who then followed up with an unbelievable distance drive from inside his own half to make it 3-0 going into the break.
Tariq Vincent pulled one back for the visitors but the deficit was not cut to two for too long as Harry Furnell completed the rout with his first goal for the Robins.
