Crawley Down Gatwick game delayed until February

Anvils FA Vase adventure means Robins trip to the Haven is postponed

Hassocks will no longer take flight to Crawley Down Gatwick this Saturday because of the Anvils’ continued participation in the Isuzu FA Vase.

Down have seen two previous attempts to play their third round tie against Tunbridge Wells at Culverden Stadium postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

The game has subsequently been switched to Haven, meaning the Robins’ Southern Combination Premier Division visit being rearranged. That fixture will now take place on Saturday 15th February, kicking off at 3pm.

Hassocks are now next in action on Boxing Day away at Haywards Heath Town. Kick off is 11am at the Home Smart Energy Stadium for a Mid Sussex Derby between the top two in the Premier Division.

Just over 48 hours later and third placed side Roffey visit the Hassocks Hotel Beacon Ground for the Robins’ final game of 2024. That one gets underway at 3pm.
