Boars send Robins to first home league defeat of the season

Roffey sent the Robins to a first home league defeat of the season as they ran out convincing 3-1 winners in front of a crowd in excess of 600.
Josh Neathey put the Boars 1-0 ahead but Charlie Pitcher equalised for Hassocks on the stroke of half time to ensure the sides went into the interval level.
The Robins began to run out of energy in the second half having played against Haywards Heath Town just 48 hours earlier, leaving the fresher legs of Roffey evident.
Goals in the final 20 minutes from Daniel Pappoe and Tom Tolfrey wrapped up three points for the Boars, who closed to 11 points of Hassocks in the standings.
