A Robins side ravaged by injury, suspension and pre-Christmas unavailability went down to a 1-0 defeat away at Peacehaven & Telscombe.
Josh Marshall’s 78th minute goal won all three points for the Tye. Hassocks were down to 10 men by that point after Luke Akehurst picked up a controversial red card for two strange bookings, a decision that Hassocks joint boss Phil Wickwar described as “extremely troubling”.
