Hassocks have confirmed their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2018-19 season, with three Bostik League sides set to visit the Beacon.
The Robins will kick things off with the annual Ann John Memorial Trophy game against Burgess Hill Town on Thursday July 19th at 7.45pm.
Once again, all money raised on the evening will go to various cancer charities including St Peter & St James’ Hospice and Macmillan.
Those in attendance will be hoping for a similarly entertaining game as last years meeting in which James Westlake scored twice for the Robins on the way to a 2-2 draw, meaning the trophy was shared for a remarkable third time in the past four seasons.
Two days later on Saturday 19th July, Bostik League newcomers Haywards Heath Town visit the Beacon. Shaun Saunders’ side did the double over the Robins last season on their way to lifting the Southern Combination League title, winning 4-1 in Hassocks on Boxing Day and 5-0 at Hanbury Park on Easter Monday.
Next up is a meeting with Division One side AFC Varndeanians at Culver Road, Lancing on Wednesday 25th with an 8pm kick off and on Saturday 28th, the Robins make the short trip to face Upper Beeding at the Memorial Fields, starting at 4pm.
Hassocks’ final game of pre-season comes when Dom Di Paolo brings his Horsham outfit to the Beacon on Tuesday 31st July with a 7.45pm kick off.
