Football for all clubs at Hassocks as well as across the grassroots scene in the United Kingdom has been suspended indefinitely due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
On the evening of Monday 16th March, the British Government announced that people are to avoid social contact and gatherings where possible and in line with that guidance, the Football Association has postponed for the foreseeable future all grassroots football activity (matches, including friendlies, and training) in England.
Further updates will follow as and when the situation becomes more clear. Nobody knows whether we will complete the 2019-20 season or what this means for league positions or cup standings right now, but there are more important things going on then Southern Combination League football right now.
We hope every one of our players, members and supporters stays safe during these difficult times and we hope to see you all down the Beacon again once it is safe to do so.
