It wasn’t the best of starts to pre-season for Hassocks as they were well beaten away at the Enclosed Ground by Blue Square South side Whitehawk.
The three division gap between the sides was evident in the first half as Danny Mills netted a hat-tick along with goals from Ahmed Abdulla and Kleyton Agostini to send the Hawks in at the break 5-0 up.
The Robins competed far better in the second half with the only goal for the hosts coming from A Trialist to complete the rout.
