Hassocks got their 2016-17 Premier Division campaign up and running with an excellent 2-1 victory away at Wick on the opening day of the season.
Two first half goals in the space of four minutes from Jamie Hillwood put Hassocks in control and despite Kieron Playe-Howard pulling one back for the hosts with 20 minutes remaining, they couldn’t force an equaliser as the Robins hung on three impressive points.
