The Robins suffered a seventh consecutive defeat as they were beaten 2-1 by high flying Eastbourne United Association at the Beacon.
Ben Bacon had sent Hassocks into half time with a shock lead but two goals in the space of four second half minutes from Liam Baitup and Tyler O’Callaghan ensured that the three points went back to the Oval as United recorded a first win over Hassocks since 2009.
