Hassocks were the better team at the Sportsfield but once again they failed to take their chances as their mini revival came to an end away at Littlehampton Town.
The Golds scored twice in as many second half minutes, firstly through Jack Cole and then Marshall Ball to run out 2-0 winners on a sunny day on the Sussex coast.
