Hassocks were plunged further into the Premier Division’s relegation battle as they were beaten 1-0 at home by a Wick side who began the day sitting second bottom of the table.
The only goal of the game was scored by Joe Grommett on the hour mark with heavy fog blanketing the Beacon, making viewing difficult – which might have been no bad thing for the Robins faithful.
