Phil Gault’s late 89th minute leveller rescued a point for Hassocks in a match that was the definition of that well-worn cliche a game of two halves.
Broadbridge Heath dominated the opening 45 minutes and went into the break 1-0 ahead through Tim Martin’s opener with a quarter of an hour played.
But whatever Mark Dalgleish and Phil Wickwar said to the Robins at the interval had the desired effect as the hosts dominated the second half, eventually equalising through Gault after a magical run and cross from Nathan Miles.
