Photos through the rain as Hassocks sink the Pirates
Photos of the Southern Combination League Premier Division match between Hassocks and Bexhill United at the Beacon on Saturday 5th November 2022.
The Robins picked up an excellent 2-0 win over sixth placed Bexhill in terrible rain and driving wind thanks to two second half goals from Liam Benson.
Benson struck first from a one-on-one after nice link up play between JJ Minty and Pat Harding. The striker then secured the three points in the 90th minute, finishing after a Jamie Wilkes shot from outside the box caused a goalmouth scramble.
